We smoke our meats for 4 to 16 hours in our custom made Barbeque grills by Thorton's Welding of Bloomington, Indiana. Pat has a real talent for his welding craft. Thanks Pat! Jeff marinates the meat 24 hours with a special blend rub of eight spices before we smoke the meat. The end result is barbecued meat so tender that it falls right off the bone.

 

 

 

 

Our business was founded out of a love for friends, family and food! We enjoy cooking barbecue that our friends and family love to eat. Jeff and Tammy have a large family so the kids have benefited from all the taste tasting events. Jeff has been honing his cooking skills over the years and is known for his down home cookin' style. He uses several spices and herbs and slow cooks his dishes to perfection. From ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, to barbecue chicken and catfish, Carsons BBQ and Catering serves up the best tasting barbecue in the Bloomington area. Jeff gives credit to his Momma, Gladys Mae, for taking the time to teach him the secrets of good barbecue as he was growing up. In his younger days, he owned and operated a popular restuarant named Chanaghan's Corner in Terre Haute before moving to Bloomington. He was drawn to the area when he fell in love with his beautiful wife. Tammy has a flair for cooking as well. Tammy will spend more time on planning events and designing custom cakes and desserts. It is our desire that you truly enjoy the food and friendship. Carson's BBQ and Catering is a mobile food unit.
